The true life story of Canadian pilot, John D. Cundle, who managed to safely land his Cessna 150, C-GCPU (aka Hasel) in the black of night, in a cornfield, near Sarnia, at 10:36 PM, on Thursday, October 26, 2017, following an engine failure at 4500 feet.

John earned his PPL (Private Pilot License) in April, 2017 and his VFR OTT (Over the Top) & Night Ratings in August, 2017 Up to that night John and Hasel had 140 flying hours together and landing at 27 airports in Ontario, Quebec, Ohio & Michigan and one (and hopefully the last) Ontario corn field. In total, John has 745 flying hours, and 45 airports.
